Understanding the Systems Behind the Customer Experience
My eight years with Delta Air Lines provided a rare opportunity to experience airline operations from nearly every perspective—from customer reservations and passenger services to airport operations, cargo handling, and aircraft support.
Working across these functions taught me how thousands of people, processes, and systems must work together to safely move passengers and cargo every day. It also gave me a deep appreciation for operational excellence, customer experience, workforce coordination, and the importance of effective communication in fast-paced environments.
The experience shaped my approach to leadership and systems thinking by demonstrating that successful operations depend on understanding how every role contributes to the larger mission.

Supporting the Movement of Goods Around the World
Following my aviation career, I transitioned into global logistics, supporting executive leadership within an international freight forwarding organization responsible for complex transportation networks spanning air, ocean, rail, and ground transportation.
Working with major global brands and transportation partners provided firsthand exposure to the challenges of supply chain management, customer expectations, operational risk, and large-scale coordination. The experience reinforced the importance of strategic decision-making, stakeholder management, and the ability to navigate complex situations where timing, communication, and execution directly impact business outcomes.
These experiences expanded my understanding of how global organizations operate and strengthened the leadership, problem-solving, and operational skills that have continued to serve me throughout my career.
