As an avid researcher and lifelong learner, I am passionate about understanding global dynamics. My academic journey reflects this, with a focus on international conflict resolution, Mandarin Chinese at BYU Hawaii with a study abroad in Shanghai, and the pursuit of an MBA and MPH. I am continually expanding my skillset through certifications in Agile, mediation, and digital marketing enabling me to contribute effectively in a globalized world.
International Culture/Mediation, Conflict Resolution
I participated in the International Peacebuilding program at BYU Hawaii (formerly International Culture), requiring two years of Mandarin Chinese. I also minored in Disaster Management under Political Science.
My academic pursuits included extensive mediation practice, analysis of global conflict, and research on sustainable business practices that prioritize community health and environmental safety.
I gained practical experience by organizing and hosting a disaster fair for the local community and obtaining a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) certification."
Master of Business Administration, MBA
I earned my MBA from Westminster University in Salt Lake City, Utah, drawn to its emphasis on cultural and societal impact and international focus.
As part of my studies, I had the opportunity to conduct in-person research on various businesses in France, including Gore-Tex, family-owned chocolatiers, L'Occitane cosmetics, and high-speed transportation companies.
This international experience provided valuable insights into global business practices and cultural nuances.
Master of Public Health
My MPH from Westminster University focused on the intersection of conflict, displacement, and public health. I explored critical issues such as refugee health, access to clean water and sanitation, and the role of education in improving global health outcomes.
My studies included epidemiology and grant writing, culminating in a research project that investigated sustainable business practices in communities, prioritizing the health and well-being of residents.
Court-Approved Mediator-Utah
Completed Basic Mediation Certification in Utah, which is the process to become a court-approved mediator in Utah. All requirements have been met.
A-CSPO, Advanced Agile Scrum Product Owner
